Calm, One‑On‑One Care - Wellington Point. One dog. One groomer. No cages. No rushing.
At Shedquarters Dog Grooming, we believe dogs deserve a grooming experience that is calm, considered and tailored to them — never rushed or treated as one-size-fits-all.
One dog. One groomer. No cages. No rushing.
Our one-on-one approach means your dog receives our full attention from start to finish, in a calm and private environment without the noise, crowds or extended waiting often found in busy salons. It allows us to work at your dog’s pace and is particularly suited to nervous dogs, senior dogs, or those who simply prefer a quieter experience.
Every groom is tailored to your dog’s coat, condition, age, lifestyle and temperament. From regular maintenance washes and tidy-ups to full grooms and specialist coat care, we take the time to do things properly — using professional grooming equipment, quality products and gentle handling techniques.
We also believe good grooming starts with communication. We take the time to understand what you want for your dog and to keep you informed about their coat, skin and grooming needs.
Shedquarters isn't about getting as many dogs through the door as possible. It's about giving each dog the time, attention and care they deserve.
Clean Dogs. Less Hair. Happier Homes.
Services & Pricing
Choosing the Right Size for Your Dog
Not sure which size applies to your dog? Use the guide below as a starting point.
Our pricing is based on your dog’s size, coat type, coat condition, behaviour and the time required to complete the service safely and to a high standard.
The prices listed for each service apply to dogs whose coats are reasonably maintained and suitable for the selected service. Where a dog requires significantly more time due to coat condition, excessive coat removal, behaviour or other individual needs, an additional charge may apply.
Where possible, we’ll always discuss any additional cost with you before proceeding.
Dog Size Guide
Small up to 10 kg, Medium 11–19 kg, Large 20–29 kg, X-Large 30–39 kg and Giant 40 kg+
Please note that weight is only a guide. Two dogs of the same weight can require very different amounts of time depending on their coat type, thickness, condition and grooming requirements.
Helping Us Prepare for Your Dog
When requesting an appointment, please let us know about anything that may affect your dog’s grooming experience.
This may include:
Matting, tangles or a heavily overgrown coat
Previous difficulty with grooming
Nervousness, anxiety or sensitivity to handling
Reactivity or difficulty standing for extended periods
Age-related mobility or other handling considerations
Any known skin, coat or other conditions that may affect grooming
There’s no judgement — we simply want to know what your dog needs.
Having this information before your appointment allows us to prepare properly, allow enough time and make the experience as calm and comfortable as possible.

Important Information
Matting & Coat Condition
Matting is more than a cosmetic issue. Tight or extensive mats can pull on the skin, restrict movement and hide underlying irritation, sores or other skin problems.
For this reason, your dog’s comfort and welfare will always take priority over preserving coat length.
If your dog arrives with significant matting or a heavily tangled coat, we may need to alter the planned groom. This can include removing more coat than originally requested or, where necessary, clipping the coat short to safely release the skin.
An additional fee may apply where substantial matting, excessive coat removal or extended handling time significantly increases the time required for the groom. Any additional charge will be discussed with you where practicable before proceeding.
When Matting Is Too Severe
In cases of extreme or tightly compacted matting, grooming may not be safe or appropriate.
If we believe attempting to groom the coat could cause unnecessary pain, injury or distress, we will not proceed with the groom.
Instead, we may recommend seeking veterinary assistance. In severe cases, veterinary clipping under sedation or anaesthesia may be the safest option for the dog.
Important to Know
By booking with Shedquarters Dog Grooming, you acknowledge that:
Matted coats can conceal skin irritation, sores, infections or other underlying conditions.
Removing severe matting can cause temporary redness, sensitivity or discomfort, even when performed carefully.
Your dog’s groom may need to be adjusted according to their coat condition, behaviour and welfare on the day.
Small skin grazes or nicks can rarely occur when working with severely matted coats, particularly where the skin is hidden or closely attached to the matting.
We cannot accept responsibility for pre-existing skin conditions or reactions associated with severe matting.
Your dog’s health, safety and comfort will always take priority over the requested grooming outcome.
By proceeding with an appointment, you acknowledge and accept these grooming conditions.
